Pakistan faces a growing healthcare and education crisis. Noncommunicable diseases account for over 60% of all deaths, an estimated 350,000 new strokes occur every year, and the country has roughly one neurologist for every million people. Advanced medical facilities remain concentrated in major cities, placing specialist care beyond the reach of millions. At the same time, over 25 million children are out of school, deepening the cycle of poverty and limited opportunity.

AZ Foundation USA is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation based in Texas, USA, established to ensure that the ability to pay never determines access to lifesaving medical care or education. Founded and governed by experienced, board-certified physicians and professionals committed to humanitarian service, the Foundation operates two free specialist clinics in Karachi — the Dr. Kazi T. Uzair Neurology Center and the Dr. Raghid Farooqi Memorial Internal Medicine Clinic — providing completely free consultations, diagnostics and ongoing care. A third facility, a purpose-built specialty clinic, is now in the planning stage.
